Green Bay Falls Short
What’s going on in Green Bay?
The Packers dropped a brutal 13-10 loss to the Cleveland Browns in Week 3.
They entered the game as heavy favorites.
Instead, their offense sputtered and finished with just 230 total yards.
That’s not going to win games in the NFL.
Defense Breaks Late
The defense held strong for most of the game.
But everything fell apart in the fourth quarter.
Cleveland scored 13 unanswered points in the final 3:38.
It looked like the Packers simply gave up.
Jordan Love struggled under pressure.
He was sacked five times and threw a costly interception with just over three minutes left.
That turnover led to the Browns tying the game.
The Josh Jacobs Problem
The real concern for Green Bay isn’t just Love.
It’s Josh Jacobs.
The veteran running back had another rough outing.
He finished with only 30 rushing yards on 16 carries.
That’s just 1.9 yards per attempt, the third-worst of his career.
And it’s not a one-time issue.
Through three games, Jacobs has just 180 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 58 carries.
Offensive Line or Running Back?
Yes, the offensive line deserves blame.
They haven’t given Jacobs much help.
But he’s a Pro Bowler.
He’s expected to create plays even when things aren’t perfect.
Right now, he’s not delivering.
Packers Need More
The Packers’ rushing attack ranks 20th in the league.
That’s despite being seventh in carries.
Too many touches. Too few results.
If Jacobs doesn’t turn things around, Green Bay is in serious trouble.
They need him to be the dominant force he’s been in past seasons.
Big Picture in Green Bay
Should Packers fans be worried?
Absolutely.
Jacobs has been one of the league’s best backs for years.
But he’s not playing like it right now.
If he doesn’t elevate his game, the Packers’ playoff hopes could fade fast.
To reach their first Super Bowl in 15 years, they need Jacobs to play like the All-Pro he truly is.
