Tyler Booker Out with High Ankle Sprain
The Dallas Cowboys suffered another major setback.
Rookie right guard Tyler Booker is out with a high ankle sprain.
Reports say he will land on injured reserve and miss 4–6 weeks.
That’s a tough loss for Dallas.
Booker played every snap in the game against the Bears.
How the Injury Happened
The injury came late in the game.
Booker was hit in the back by running back Miles Sanders and fell awkwardly.
Moments later, Bears defensive lineman Andrew Billings rolled over his ankle.
It was an unlucky sequence.
One of those frustrating plays that can shift a season.
More Offensive Line Problems
The Cowboys are no strangers to high ankle sprains.
Last week, center Cooper Beebe went on injured reserve with the same injury.
Brock Hoffman stepped in for Beebe.
Now, T.J. Bass is expected to replace Booker in the lineup.
Jerry Jones Reacts
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones voiced his frustration.
He believed the offensive line would be one of the team’s strengths this year.
“That’s a setback for us,” Jones admitted.
And the injuries don’t stop with Booker.
Wide receiver CeeDee Lamb is also battling a high ankle sprain.
Jones said Lamb could be placed on injured reserve as well.
What’s Next for Dallas
The Cowboys will wait a few more days before making a final call on Lamb.
But either way, they’re facing a tough stretch ahead.
Missing Booker for 4–6 weeks is already a huge blow.
If Lamb is sidelined too, Dallas will be without two key playmakers.
The pressure is on.
The Cowboys must adjust quickly if they want to stay in contention.
